Game Structure
Demmortal Treasure is a gamified lottery in which all NFT holders will participate in. It is enough to hold the NFT(s) to be part of the daily and weekly lottery/draws. Any changes to any of the NFTs in the collection e.g. burning or upgrading will affect outcomes.
Each card (NFT), excluding god NFTs, has one ability and two properties assigned to them. The ability of a card is either Determination or Talent. Please consult the winning conditions to see how the abilities of your card plays a role in the sequence of the game. The properties are shown on the card as the mortal number/ M# and community number/ C#, respectfully. The mortal number can be spotted on the right hand side of the card and the community number is thus shown on the left. The card‘s abilities and both properties will be shown on the card employing different elements.
Blue light on the card for Talent
Pink light on the card for Determination
C#: A number between 1 - 9
M# A number between 1 - 9
Please note that abilities and properties are distributed randomly among the cards. What your card has is not related to the card’s character.
- 1.Immortal characters
- 2.Mortal characters are divided into five categories. Besides the plain category, the remaining four have special powers which are gifted to them by the Olympian gods.

- Smiths (777 cards) with the “craft drop” power and a 0.85x chance of winning among all cards.
- Enchants (666 cards) with the “double ability” power have a 1.25x chance of winning among all cards.
- Bandits (480 cards) with the “magnet” ability have a 1.45x chance of winning among all cards.

Immortal characters
Mortal characters
There are 10 God NFTs that are the most special and rare among all the cards which have full abilities with no mortal properties.
Mortal characters are divided into five categories.
Besides the plain category, the remaining four have special powers which are gifted to them by the Olympian gods.

Cards (NFTs) play the main role in this game. There is a base deck that shuffles every time the game begins. To begin, the first card must be drawn (first card selection). After that, that specific card will go through the game steps (game steps). In case the card meets the winning condition of the game, the game will be over. If not, the game will select the next card based on the next card selection rules. This process will continue until a card wins.
Like any other card game, the base deck is a deck of all the available cards (minted NFTs). The number of the base deck is constant unless an NFT holder burns their NFT or an upgrade to Beast rider takes place.
Beast rider has the power to carry an illusion card which adds a card to the base deck but in reality, it is not an NFT.
The first place from 1 to 7777 is allocated based on NFT IDs (1 to 7777). After that, the place from 7778 to 8221 will be allocated to the illusions card with a priority of their NFT ids (An illusion card with a lower NFT ID will take a lower number place). In the case that any of the NFTs would get burned or upgraded to illusion NFTs, the base deck and the place of the cards will be shifted based on that change.
The precondition of selecting an NFT is shuffling the base deck. To make the shuffle as random as possible, the hash of the Ethereum block is used [link to GitHub shuffling the cards code]. The approximate time of the creation of the block will be announced on the game page on the DDD website. Once that has been announced, the block gets produced and the hash of the block is used for randomization.
After choosing the card, the first place to start the game should be chosen. Based on the block hash, a random place between 1 to 8221 will be chosen to start the game.
After these two steps, the game will have the first card chosen.
The game ends when the treasure reveals itself. There are three ways to reveal the treasure.
- When the balance occurs between talent and determination. If any card could make the scores on both sides of the gate equal, it would win.
- Reaching the maximum level of talent or determination (over 50).
- If a chosen card is a God card. It would end the game under any condition.
As the game starts, the talented side is 5-0 ahead and each card that is played will add its abilities to the overall score.
If any card could make the score equal the balance happens, it will win. See the examples below.
The score is 14-12 for talents. The next card that is played has 2 determination and it makes the score 14-14. The balance has occurred and this card reveals the treasure and wins the game.
Assume the game is 30-48 for determinations. The next card has 3 determination so the score changes to 30-51 and because the determinations have passed the 50 score limit this card would be the one that reveals the treasure and wins.
No matter the condition the game is in, if the chosen card is a God NFT the game will end and that NFT is the winner.
When a place is called to play, the card in that position will at first be given its ability (talent or determination) to the game. If that card is not able to reveal the treasure the game will call upon the next card.
Calling the next place is based on the card properties, C#, and M#. The game will call the next place by multiplying “the place of the current card” to C#. The result will be added to the M# and the outcome will be the place of the next card to play.
For example, the NFT that is in place 1000 has been played and its C# is 3 and the M# is 44. Assuming that this card didn’t reveal the treasure, the game will calculate the next place as follows:
// (1000*3) + 44 = 3044
So the next card that will be played is the NFT which stands at 3044th place in that game.
Now, what if the called place exceeds 8221?
The deck will overflow and counting will start over. This means the new called place will be calculated as the remainder of the called place over the length of the deck (8221).
e.g. in the last example if the card’s C# was 9 instead of 3 the result would exceed the base deck.
// (1000*9) + 44= 9044
So the next place will be the remainder of 9044 over 8221
// 9044%8221= 894
The last factor that has an impact on the result of the game, is the character’s special power. These characters are divided into individual guilds. The following is how the game is affected by each of these individual special powers:
The Beast Riders
The Bandits
The Enchants
The Smiths
Card illusion power gifted by Artemis
The Beast Riders guild is the holder of this power. Illusion power allows each Beast Rider to have an additional identical card in the deck. This power elevates their chances to be picked after the shuffle. As it was mentioned before, the illusion cards will be added to the end of the base deck.
Magnet power gifted by Hermes
The Bandits are the holders of this power. The characters with this power cooperate to increase their winning chance. At the start of the game, magnets* are deactivated. When the first card with the magnet power plays, the magnet of all the cards will get activated for 3 rounds of the game.
When a card wins the game. If the winner's card placed in the game deck has a thief card in place before or after the card and the magnets of the game are active, it will steal the chance of the winning card. For example, the NFT in place 999 has the thief card, and the magnets have been activated in round 5 of the game. If in round 7, the NFT in the 1000th place wins the game the chance would be stolen from it and the thief NFT will be the winner of that game.
Special Cases
Q: What if a thief card is before and after the winning card‘s place?
A: The share will be divided between both.
Q: What if the winning card is a thief card?
A: That's not an issue. They will win such as in a normal situation.
Q: What if the winning card is a thief card and there is a thief card after or before the winner card?
A: Nobody can steal the treasure from the thieves. Magnet abilities won't affect them.
Magnet: When magnet power is activated in the game, a pair of glowing eyes will appear above the gate on the game page.
Double ability power gifted by Hecate
The Enchants guild is the holder of this power. Each card with this character can play their abilities twice. So after the first attempt, if the treasure remains unrevealed, they can play their abilities again before calling the next card.
Craft drop power gifted by Hephaestus
The smiths guild is the holder of this power. This power doesn’t affect the game but the owners of this NFT will receive a special NFT airdrop in the future.
Based on the game structure only one of the picked cards wins the lottery. The rest of the cards that are picked but didn’t win, will receive a “POTL” - Proof Of Titan Luck . Any card with 3 POTL will have the option to be upgraded to the more rare guilds card.
